Highly Sprung launches Believe

Highly Sprung have launched their Dancing for the Games project Believe.
“The Believe project is a unique community dance project produced by Highly Sprung Performance Co. combining the skills and resources of 6 partners, The City of Coventry Stadium, Vortex Creates, The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry City Council and Imagineer Productions. The project will culminate in a large-scale dance performance at The City of Coventry Stadium as part of the LOCOG supported pre-event entertainment programme for the Olympic Football Tournament test event in April 2012.”
The project aims to engage 2500 children aged 7-11 in inspirational dance activities and a further 600 members of the community in unique community dance workshops contributing to the creative process of the large scale dance performance that will involve over 450 performers.
