You can now watch the complete 30-minute film of all 10 dances from Spill – A Playground of Dance on The Space.
The film captures the show by DanceXchange and choreographed by Shaun Parker, which has been touring playgrounds across the West Midlands and beyond.
“Combining quirky, dynamic dance with high energy street gymnastics, the dancers blaze a colourful trail across the structures and landscapes of the playground.
Using children’s playground equipment as the set, a story unfolds, touching on themes of trickery, love, conflict and friendship. Highly playful and physical, and at times teasingly comical – this is a cheeky dance celebration of the child within.”
