HR1
HR1 is a massive dance project taking place across Herefordshire, which aims to get the county dancing in the run up to London 2012.
The project launched in June 2011, with the first series of danceMash performances taking place in the streets of Hereford, Bromyard, Ross-on-Wye, Leominster, Ledbury and Kington. These events featured professional hip-hop breakdancing dancers and performances by local community groups and schools.
From October 2011 Activate classes have started to take place across the county for everyone who would like the chance to be part of HR1′s final spectacular event on Castle Green, Hereford, on 30 June 2012. A second phase of Activate classes is running from January 2012 onwards.
