In the Further Soil
As part of the celebrations for the Commonwealth Games in India in 2010, Birmingham-based company Sampad performed their brand new dance show, In the Further Soil.
A delightful mix of music, dance and theatre, the show featured two time MOBO award winner Soweto Kinch, and award-winning Indian dancer Sanjukta Ray.
After performing for The Prince of Wales in India, the show toured Britain, where members of the public learnt about Bollywood dance from Sanjukta in small workshops.
