Glow is the spectacular finale to hr1, a year long dance project taking place across Herefordshire as part of Dancing for the Games. Glow brings the best of hr1 together with stunning dance from the professional dance world in one unforgettable celebratory dance experience.
The Warm-Up: Glow kicks off with a festival style afternoon event fizzing with dance to see and do. Featuring tea dances, b-boy competitions, a ballroom blitz, dance films, classes in styles from Bollywood to Ballet and performances and demos by dancers from the professional dance world, schools, youth dance groups and private dance schools, it will be a fun packed afternoon suitable for all the family.
The Blaze: At night, the Castle Green is transformed as a spectacular dance show brings the site to life in a mesmerising mix of dance and music and culminating in an unforgettable torch-lit finale.
The Heat: With live music, DJ’s, a bar and plenty of food stalls all day and evening, there’s plenty of opportunity to lay back, enjoy the tunes, watch the dance and soak up the atmosphere.
