Encompass
Encompass will use film, live performance and a digital installation to create a breathtaking show in a huge 360-degree digital igloo, with local and international artists performing live and on-screen.
The performance will take the audience on a journey around the site, to include the Gaskell Field, which was the birthplace of the modern Olympic movement.
Moving images of dancers from around the world will be projected, there will be live performances from local dance groups and interactive digital installations will be shown to get the audience dancing.
For the finale the audience will move into the igloo dome, where they will be surrounded by a 360-degree dance film and live performers.
